The situation was exactly the same when XP first came out. It took over a year and the first service pack to get it to run correctly. I guess that most computer users don't have the knowledge that is required to set up an operating system. They just want to turn the computer on and have it work their way without doing anything to it.

I have been running Vista ever since it first came out and have not had any problems at all. It runs all of my software, some of which is pretty extensive, and I've had no problems with older software, IE, Photoshop 7, Microsoft Office 2000, etc. The security is way better then XP and the system seems to be much more stable.

Vista set up my network, (Two Vista computers and one XP computer), without any trouble at all. The three computer share both the internet and each other files.

Nope, I don't have any complaints about Vista.

Because its alot heavier than other OS's

And in all honesty, its crap.

Im not too sure myself why, it just is

Most software wont work for vista

no webcams, stuff like that work on it

And microsoft are forcing computer shops to have it on the pc's and laptops they sell, because noone would buy it otherwise

It asks to many questions.

It is not totally compatible with everything yet.

The all programs area is not as easy to use as the old one.

Settings are scattered all over.
