I had this dream where me and a friend did... things... and the fact that scares me the most is when I get dreams like that they happen sooner or later... this is one dream I don't want to see happen!!

I saw myself through my friends eyes and I was a monster! I don't want that to happen... but I know that when I have a dream like so that it's set in stone and will happen no matter what...

What do I do?! do I avoid my friend and keep waiting? or do I tell her about my dream and hope she doesn't freak out??

Thanks, Mel.

Mel, I looked over your q & a's for the last 4 months, and would like to know if this is the same friend you asked a question about 4 months ago? If it is, then it seems as though this situation is really starting to stress you out. Worrying so much about whether she would freak out is causing you to freak out.
Avoiding your friend over it is going to cause hurt feelings, because your friend won't understand why you're avoiding her.
You know that if you come clean to your friend about what is going on with you, you will be risking rejection. This is starting to affect your mental health, and the friendship, though. You may need to have a talk with your friend, and risk rejection to get this off of your mind. You maybe ought to consider some counseling before you talk to her, just to get your thoughts straight. But I think it would be better to get it off of your chest to her, and deal with it from there, all the worry about it is making you sick. I don't think you should tell her about the dream as you have explained it to us, though. There is a possibility that the friendship will end if you come clean to her, but you need to come to terms with that. If she is not likewise inclined, there is a possibility she will reject you. If she is really your friend, there is also a possibility that once you have it out in the open, then you can work on restoring your friendship, but you have to be willing to accept that if she is not likewise inclined. I would strongly recommend that you should get some counseling, and better with someone who specializes in this sort of situation, to help you determine the best way to approach it, from an impartial third party. Obviously you don't want to give up the friendship, so the most important thing for you to remember is this : no matter what any dream tells you,(or other people, for that matter) you have free will, and that includes the freedom to decide NOT to do something....... Good luck, and I hope everything works out in the best way possible...

Mel, sometimes people do not understand their dreams. It's not uncommon for people to have dreams which come to pass. However, what does happen is that when people think every dream they have will come to pass. They make it come to pass when it should not have. This is what I mean. You can let fear of a thing control you and set in course a series of events which will cause a bad thing to come to pass. It's like the old black cat myth where they are bad luck. So because of the fear of black cat, I try to avoid them and end up hurting myself. I can tell from your dream there are some issues you have of your own perception as a monster.

Your dream means that you are concerned about the way people perceive you. You think that they think or may come to conclude that you are not all that nice. All you can really do is be yourself. If you wish to tell your friend, go ahead, also tell her that later on in your relationship, you may start acting like a monster (being nasty and unlikeable), she should call you on it so you could transform back.

I so do not think I would tell her about the dream unless it is the only way to not avoid her. I honestly suggest you try not to give your dreams so much power over you...you can learn more about prophetic dreaming and controlling your dreams on the internet.

At times dreams can be haunting and mostly about running from something or someone. In the last year I have had the same dream about four times week, and it puzzles me. I think there are internal reasons when we dream like our sub conscious mind.

Its just a dream. On top of that you need to find the interpretation of the dream. Most people in your dreams are just different aspects of yourself.
