I don't understand some of the people that answered this question? You don't have to be a supermodel to wear it, in fact, it would look better on someone a little heavier and has a little more bust than the model wearing it does. Empire waist dresses are flattering for almost every body type. I really don't understand how a dress that is not low cut and not curve hugging could possibly offend someone.

It's gorgeous (and glamorous)! It's beautiful without being too overdone. They could have put a lot more beading on it, but that would have made it insanely heavy, so it's a good thing.

I agree with them, its a beautiful dress and very fairyesque but maybe I am too old fashioned as well......Im 32 btw. It is not something I would like to see worn at a wedding as I feel it is too revealing for a bride.

At a New Year's Eve party or something like it ok but walking down the aisle to be in front of God um NO. Whether or not you have been with the entire football team doesnt' matter you don't have to let your granmother and everyone else in church or wherever you get married know that!

A wedding just isn't the time to put "the girls" on display. I would save that for your wedding night but that is just me. Besides are you wearing it to feel beautiful or are you wearing it to draw attention to yourself? Just a random thought..........

It's a beautiful dress and I think you have excellent taste. BUT - keep in mind that Art Deco style weddings are trendy now and wearing a dress like this could really date your wedding photos in later years. Think of your parents, aunts & uncles in their 1970s wedding get ups... big, puffy sleeves and ruffled shirts. If you ask me a more classic style is the way to go for a wedding. Buy a dress like this one for a cocktail party.

Not sure, I have never seen anything like that before, but for a wedding dress?? My first thought was the 1920's or something, but maybe that had something to do with the model. If you want to go different go for it, but some will think it is too much.

It's a beautiful dress, but a bit too revealing for a wedding. The sparkles are nice and the basic design is classic and simple, but, well, maybe I'm old fashioned but it's kind of revealing for weddings and other formal occasions.

Oooooooooh! I love it, absolutely *love* it - and I am not one to gush over every wedding dress I see. I would buy it myself, if I hadn't decided not to wear white. It is simply gorgeous!

EDIT: Oh, and I'm 28, and therefore I don't think my opinions are particularly "modern" - in fact, this dress has a very early-20th-century look to me. I think the difference isn't old-fashioned or modern, but rather, religious vs. secular.

That's really fabulous. If you are having a really elaborate wedding, like one of those on the shows, " Platinum Weddings" or "My Big Fat Fabulous Wedding" You might be able to pull off such as high fashion design.

It is very pretty...remember this is your special day not everyone in the worlds. Your taste is also different as everyone has thier own likes. For me I am using a cinderella ball gown type dress and I am 29.

It is stunning! I wish the picture was a little clearer so I could see the detail better. I love how it is sexy and sweet at the same time.

I wouldn't wear it because it is so low cut, just not my thing. If it feels comfortable for you, go for it!

GORGEOUS! I had something similar, a champagne beaded sheath that had a bit of netting that wrapped the shoulders. Everyone loved that it was very different. Enjoy!
