You say Dude alot lol, thats cute.

Its okay to imitate TV just for the fun or for health, but when it comes down to it, TV is the last trainer you want, They dont show you proper Technique and Form, which in Martial Arts is KEY. You need to know exactly how to do something CORRECTLY, The pros and cons of it, and how to convert it to any environment. If you're serious, buying books is Fine, Looking up tips online - Also great. But if you want the true thing what you can actually use and master you need to join a class.

They got Distance Learning Courses they allow monthly installments & your lessons are on videos. When you want to earn the next rank you send in a videotape performing the maneuvers with a test fee then they grade it. There's hundreds of them just type in martial arts home certification in any search engine. I'll list in the sources the ones I know that has trained world champion fighters that still fight to this day. The stuff you see on TV is garbage it's off balanced & leaves too many openings to counters that can cost you your life if you try them in a real fight.

how about get a friend of yours who have a martial arts training and learn from them,it will teach you how to block instead of giving it all the way.I also thought by learning by tv could work but it is useless because nowadays Hollywood movies are fake and full of lies, but only a FEW are real...but before you learned martial arts my principal is build up your body until the toughest you could get and start training...

Well, if you watch all the episodes of Naruto 1000 times, I'd suppose you'd be able to master all their special fighting techniques and call your self a ninja : P

You can only learn so much from the tube, but you gotta do whatever it takes. This can work until you are able to find a Sensei.Dedication is the key to adversity.Good luck.

Dude.... you can't learn from a tv, you need an instructor to learn, it's like.... trying to learn to drive a car just by looking at it dude, it just doesn't work.

dude, good luck!

If it show from where you are learning.
i tried it once and guess what i learned.
not to practice RIGHT in front of the tv or you'll end up buying a new one...
