The camera seems to come on when batteries are put in it, however the screen does not come up. I tried to click the shutter button but there is no sound associated with it. Replacing new batteries does not change anything. So if anyone has any suggestions that would get this camera working I would be grateful

I've used a camera repair company, CRJ (or Camera Repair Japan) before, and had good results at a reasonable price. Despite the name, they're not located in Japan -- they're located in Duluth, GA. (But who would trust a repair company named "Camera Repair Duluth?")

I don't it is economically sensible to have a 3 mp camera repaired. just buy a new one, it will be cheaper. Why would you want to repair a "camera" that you can replace for less than 60 bucks?
