nothing come easy - thats why it's free ;]

This question depends on the person. In my opinion love should come easy but the work to keep it together will be tough. Relationships take a lot of work so they will last. But a relationship that can out last tough times is real and powerful. Just keep that in mind. If love was so easy then people would have issues with who they "love more" It has to be tough somewhere. Who is worth the tough times we go through?

Love is not easy. Granted, all of that "floating around with your head in the clouds", happy feelings-stuff is easy, but that's only a small tip of a massive ice berg of what love is all about. The love where you trust this person not to hurt and desert you when prettier, smarter, wealthier, younger people come along (as they always do); the love where you stand beside this person as they lose their job, their confidence, and their mental center as they try to get back on track. The love where they stand with you as you negotiate putting on a few pounds, experience the deaths of grandparents, have problems with children, wrestle with job transfers, conflicting sex drives, religious ambiguity, meddlesome in-laws....you name it. Love at times is an outright b i t c h....but it grows stronger with each obstacle you successfully endure. That looking into each others eyes stuff is nice, but it gets far deeper than that. It's a deeper quality of trust and vulnerability than you've ever thought yourself capable of....it's supposed to be tough because it's the ultimate in human achievement....few people ever really get that far. Those that do are among the happiest people on the face of the earth, not because their love was easily won, but precisely because it was hard. Anyone who says love is easy obviously has no mileage to them. But it's absolutely worth the journey.

I say that it is both because there are good times and bad.When times are good it is easy but when things get tough, you really have to work at a relationship to keep the romance alive:)

Love= easy

Marriage = tough

~advice I recieved on my wedding day from his grandmother who has just recently celebrated 60 years of marriage!

This advice is among her experience of living through raising 5 kids (4 boys 1 girl) on a steelworker's pay (not high) surviving cancer TWICE, and all the sh!t inbetween! Marriage is STILL TOUGHER. (only the strongest survive, and strength is never given always worked for!)

its kinda inbetween in can be easy at times and tough the other but if its real love then it should be able to make it past the hard times and be able to laugh thru the easy:D

it just depends whether its a stormy relationship, eg some people fight like cat and dog and are still in love with eachother, while other hardly argue and are still very much in love it just depends on personality! i dont think anything in life is supposed to be easy!

If you find the right person, The One, it's easy and beautiful.

well...I think that love is tough.
it takes time to build memories and to fall in love :) you have to face a lot of problems and arguments but this is not necessarily a bad thing...because all these problems will help you understand each other and it also strengthens your relationship with the other person.
