There is no English term for the relationship between these two fathers.
To the wife, her husband's father is her father-in-law
To the husband, his wife's father is his father-in-law
But, the two father-in-law's have no relationship to each other......there is no term for this.
It would be proper for a man to say "My daughter's father-in-law" in reference to the husband's father.

A new family that treat each other as close friends.
Many languages have a word for it - and I happen to know them...but, for the life of me, there is none in English because it is poor when it comes to things like that.
English is still evolving. It has a long way to go to mature.

I believe they would be called brothers-in-law.
Rarely do these two patriarchs occupy the same physical space in American society. With age, many (not all) American men feel it is their right to be aloof from mundane family responsibilities.

Okay your avatar looks like a guy.
so to you.. your dad would just be dad.
her dad would be your father-in-law.
to her.. your dad would be her father-in-law
her dad would just be her dad.
⥠in simple terms... they are in-laws. â¥
Oh, i don't think the wifes father,
and the husbands father would be related..
in any way at all.
If anything, they are related through marriage
of their children.
