About 40 years ago a friend asked me to choose a song for when after they were married and walking back down the aisle to play for him and his new wife. Needless to say, until his divorce a few years later, while he thought it was funny, she wanted to kill me. I played Queen's Another One Bites the Dust.

Crazy Love by Van Morrison

This was one of toughest choices to make during our wedding planning....I really liked Looking in the Eyes of Love by Allison Krauss or Taking you Home by Don Henley. My husband thought they were both too country. I also liked Love of My Life, by Santana, but we are not good dancers and it has some not slow parts. At the end it was between Crazy Love and Better Together by Jack Johnson. We picked Crazy Love because it was more of a classic and I am happy with that.

I think there are always nice songs around and you'll always come across something that you like, but I don't have any regrets about the one we chose. We loved a few others but they were not really that appropriate for a wedding so we settled on Eels "Fresh Feeling" as it is upbeat and happy.

I really wanted "Lover Lay Down" by Dave Matthews...its such a beautiful song!! And I'm a huge Dave Matthews fan! BUT when my now husband & I started dating in 1999, we watched the movie Armaggedon and when the Aerosmith song "Don't Wanna Miss a Thing" came on, I said to him "Are you going to marry me one day?" and he said "Only if this can be our wedding song!" He was obviouly joking around, but then when we did get engaged, this was one of the first things he brought up! I personally don't like that song, but it meant something to both of us, so we did it. I don't regret it, and we've been married for 3 years now so I hardly think about it anymore!

Kenny Chesney's Me and You, I was very happy with it the song explains our relationship and feelings for one another well.
Later one of our friends dedicated Red Hot Chili Peppers- Hard to Concentrate to us too. It is now "our song".

I walked in to Clarke's Trumpet Voluntary - cause I couldn't decide on anything else. We left to Joy to the World (16th December wedding) and had our first dance to It Had to be You.

As of now, we are going with "Walk Through This World With Me" by George Jones.
This is the 3rd choice we've had, and there is still time to change our minds.

"What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong. My husband and I both loved the song and decided instantly that was going to be it.
