Why waste it in a motor when you could be celebrating the new year with it. Makes any party go with a bang, believe me.

My dad did this back in the fifties & used it in a 6 cylinder chevolet truck & he drove all over.But he was thrown in the slammer for selling & drinking it too.He said he had to modify the carb & some other stuff to get it to work & it did not have the get up & go as gas engines did.

You like living dangerously, don't you...if you make this class explosive, don't do it in your apt. If you make it in a shed or barn, get a signed permission from the owner(preferably that no charges will be filed, should.....)
In fact...DROP this wonderful idea...there are billion dollar plants that have trouble doing this!

It sounds like a good idea but i would be very careful as that stuff blows up at a drop of a hat.

making our own ethyl alcohol is indeed cheaper than purchasing petrol...i had made it for my science project..you can prepare it by using cheap products such as rice straws,molasses,corn etc which are quite cheap and easily available....you may even ask me the method..
