Sure, sometimes! Depends on how much of a hurry I'm in.

But your question made me think of a great Paul Simon song about relaxing more and appreciating the little things in life. When a person gets impatient and easily frustrated, maybe it would help to sing or hum this great feel good song. Life is short. Let's do our best to enjoy it while we can!

Fifty-Ninth Street Bridge (Feeling Groovy)--Paul Simon:

Slow down, you move too fast.
You gotta make the morning last.
Just kickin' down the cobblestone,
Lookin' for fun and feeling groovy.

Hello lampost
Whatcha knowin'
I've come to watch your flowers growin.'
Ain'tcha got no rhymes for me?
Doo bee doo doo
Feelin' groovy.

Got no deeds to do
No promises to keep.
I'm dappled and drowsy and ready to sleep.
Let the morningtime drop all its petals on me.
Life, I love you,
Feeling groovy.

Make me feel great just to think of this song. There's so much hustle and bustle in our modern-day world. Wouldn't it be great to more often stop and smell the roses?

I know this isn't the answer you are looking for. But it's a more carefree and enjoyable perspective. Why frustrate ourselves so much.

For lots of reasons, everyone has their own pace in life, and sometimes others are oblivious. But often they have a good reason for their slowness, and it may be a problem that is not obvious. I don't always succeed, but I try to practice tolerance.

Oh yes. I know exactly what you mean. Especially when the store is crowded. Some people walk slow just to make others mad. Its really ignorant.

YES they are so damn annoying, I feel like poking them with a sharp stick to move their fat behinds! And another thing while I'm at it... they should ban old, fat, slow and retired people, and stay at home mums with prams from going shopping on weekends. I mean they have all week to go shopping but decide to clog up the aisles on weekends when us workers are trying to get things done ;)
Maybe we should have a slow lane and fast lane in all shops. I feel better now I've got that off my chest.

Gosh CC, I thought I was the only one hurtling through life at breakneck speed, defying impediment or hindrance...Although the need to be violent hasn't yet arisen.

Be Calm, Be Wise, Be Loved...if only for the sake of innocent passers by....

yep all the time especially when they take up the whole aisle.

push past quickly make a sarcastic comment and move on quickly. makes you feel better about yourself.

they usually make a comment about "youngsters", "youth of today" or "back in my day" so make one (especially if they are old) about the supermarket "being a daytrip from the old folks home"

Looking at some of the responses you should have kept it secret. Lol.
Its the b@stards who decide to have a chat with their trolly's blocking the isle entrances that get me. They need to be judo thrown into the freezers.

ONLY when they are talking on their cell phones - but then I would like to punch ANYONE in the head with a cell phone when they are not paying attention to what is going on around them.

Yes, and then when they stop in front of me I want to ram my trolley into their ankles and say 'Sorry, but you aren't the only shopper here'.
Even worse if they're on a mobile phone!!

yes!!! if they are old, or in some way handicapped, then no, it doesn't bother me at all, but if they are just slow for no apparent reason, that makes me crazy. and then they have nerve to act like YOU are the rude one, when they stop and block the whole isle!!!!
