No, not for who they are, that would just be ridiculously uncool, which I am not.......and I rarely, really rarely give thumbs down anyways. I've probably done it maybe 5 times in the year and half I've been hanging out in Y.A.
I mean if you can't respect a person's opinion even if it's one you don't agree with, it kind of makes the point of Y.A. moot doesn't it?
(IE) I don't always agree with you Jamus, but I think your bright, intelligent, and come up with some real creative sh**, so irregardless of what your Q. or A. is, I give you some respect......and for the sake of not schmoozing there are a slew of Y.A. users I feel the same way about.

I can't say of anyone exactly, but I am ashamed to say that at my job, (bartending) I 'thumbs down' strangers all the time. Sad thing is, .... most of the time I was right. Then again, the city i live in is known for idiot people

no i only and i repeat i only give a thumbs down if someone makes a rude answer to someones good question. i realize that everyone has their own opinions and answers and i respect that. but when someone deliberately answers in a rude derogatory way i will give them a thumbs down.

I do not thumbs down anyone.
People mostly do that just so it brings their answer up to the top of the page on their computer.
A better question is: Do people think when they thumbs down it brings their answer to the top of everyones computer?
