Have you tried freelancing?? There are several sites out there that have tons of freelance work available. Sign up with them, while you are searching for a full time employer.
In the meantime, do some research on professional companies in India.

If you are the Jason that came here a few months ago, asking 160 questions on how to write a program in PhP/MySQL (which we, in the goodness and naivety of our hearts, answer generously), you do NOT have 5.5 years experience (or you have not learnt anything). A coder with 1 week practice is more proficient than what you have shown...
If you are not "that" Jason, my apologies.
Go to rentacoder.com and place some request for coding there: MANY indian companies offer services.

hi, i respect ur question but i cant understand if u have passed 5 1/2 yrs experience in this field than also u dont have any list or competitior list of comapanies from ur field.
If u have really 5.5 yrs exp. than NEW JOB have to come to you finding you.
Make ur portfolio & check regularly times, & accent etc.
Try to find from ur reference.
& Last Do not think for law pay scale, Ask for Better salary &think big think high.
