Depending on where you are in your cycle yes it can be normal for some women to have sore breasts. One of the ways I knew that my period was coming is when my breasts would be sore.

Please let your mom know what's going on as well so that she can give you even more information.

It's because you are going through a growth spurt as most teens do. You should also try wearing loose clothing so that the material does not rub on the nipple area.

If your breasts are sensitive and a cause for concern you might want to go and see your doctor.

It could be a number of things.
* and ill fitting bra
* irritating washing powder
* unclean clothing
* sensitivity around your periods

Nipples can get irritated over the slightest thing.
You could visit a Well Woman clinic to have a breast check and ask any questions that you may have.

aWWWw sweety its called hormones!
they make your boobs hurt...

the reason is, they are growing, and through all your teen years you will find they hurt sometimes!

All girls go through it, no need to see a GP, the reason they hurt is because they are growing, and will tend to hurt and be sensitive!

Its going to be a weird time for you, don't get scared, its mother nature ;)

and dont listen to people saying see your GP, we all know its because of puberty and is 100% normal.. dont worry ok?

Good luck!

Yes its normal, do not worry, at this stage, its growing pains, and due to your age, and internal development, I would suggest you talk to an older female close to you, if you can, they mite suggest wearing a different bra, it could even be the bra your wearing is the incorrect size ?

the main suggestion I would offer is go and see your Dr, in case....

good luck

They may become tender just before your period. Wear a sports bra if needed to prevent extra bouncing and apply warm compresses if needed.

it could be hormonal due to adolescence,at that age(& younger) bodies go through some major changes,if it causes too much discomfort go and see your doc,it might be a good idea to see your doc anyway,just to be sure.
