Life has been very hard for me and I would never, ever think to describe my life as lucky or extra good!
The best thing that ever happened to me was becoming a Christian, it saved my life and not just in the spiritual sense. Even as a believer I have gone through many trials, difficulties and painful experiences. I do think these have made me a more genuine, deep person, but I can't say I've been too happy going thorough them.
Some days I would just love it if someone sprinkled "fairy dust" over me and things became just wonderful. Then I wake up, thunk myself in the head, have a V8, read my Bible and deal with reality!
How do you deal with "the hard way" and the pain of it?

Have learned the hard way but my life has just turned round and I feel I am the luckiest person alive

Sometimes I wonder if I've learned at all. I'm not sure if there is an easy way or not. I cop plenty of flack from my relatives, but I'm this way because I want to be, so "ner!" My partner and I are happy with each other, despite our faults, and that's the important thing.

I've learned mostly everything the hard way, and from the way things are going right now, I can tell it's going to get a lot harder.

Most things are learned the hard way. I have had my guardian angel pull me out of some tight spots though.

Up until 2 years ago I always learnt the hard way, never again though, I learnt one lesson far too well to ever let anyone treat me like a piece of dirt again.
