Simply put, it's Mario, what's not to like. This one has more content than the N64 version, it has bunnies that you catch to unlock mini games, it has different sections that each of the characters can play. Yeah you heard me right, you play as Mario, Luigi, or Wario. It opens up a whole new perspective to the old version of this game.

yes better than the n64 version , can play as other characters as well .
although i like the old style mario better (super mario bros)

its alot better than the original
it has 150stars, the old one had 120
and it has lots of great minigames that you unlock during the game
and multiplayer mode is fun, even if you dont have anyone to play with you can practise on your own.
all the characters have there own special tequnics.

it's a great game. i don't play it much but i prefer to super mario on ds.
it's much more fun.
