Better for some, worse for others. For example there is likely to be a significant economic downturn in 2008 for both US and European economies but upturn in Asian economies. So it depends where you are and what is good and bad in your value judgments

it depends in what way,weather wise,financially(i had a good yr)personally,it could be better,career wise-i hope so,i think it all depends what arise
