Right now Michael Vaughen is the best captain according to me.
Ricky Ponting is also a great captain but i think Michael Vaughen is better.
Dhoni , Jayawerdne are also fine captains

ricky ponting definetly for reasons that he has a good temperment and also mighty clever plans and as a captain you must keep your bowlers and fielders under control which he does after every bowl for example if a ball goes bad , he shines it every minute and asks his fellow players what they think is right.

definatly Ricky ponting,dan Vetorri but also i believe Anil Kumble is showing good qualities as a captain..yes it is hard to say as he has not long started a captain,but i do think he has leadership qualities...
