I can average around 40-45 pushups I was thinking about starting to exercise with 3kg in each hand is that ok?? will it effect my growth??because my doctor said I still got like 4 inches of growth left in me and that my body will gain quite some width soon. and also will exercising with these weights injure my muscles??

I was about that weight at sixteen.... I understand your position.. This is What I did. Drink alot of water like 1 gallon a day.. Eat major protein 4 eggs for Breakfast.. Like 3 cans of tuna for Lunch... and A light salad for Dinner .... if you get hungry late some kind of fruit... Exercise but only after you change the diet.. get a 10 pound Dumbell.. and lift it 50 times a session on each arm a day..Yep I said 10 pounds try it and you will see. After a while of doin that start walking a little at first until you get used to it. Then start jogging. Good luck.

sure, i started when i was age 12 w/ 10 pound dumbells. now i'm 16 and can lift 30 lbs. on each hand

yea i started working out regularly at 15. Working out will not stunt your growth.

16 years old don't lift too heavy, you will not grow in either directions.
