I ask because Sky news and the BBC have been falling over themselves to get comment on their fallen leader Benazir Bhutto from people in Leicester and Birmingham who they claim are representatives of just such a community. I'm confused either they are British or they are Pakistani and surely their leaders are British politicians such as Keith Vaz and not those based thousands of miles away in another country? The impression I am left with from these people is one of crocodile tears, here is a group of people who support terrorism within their nation state, support terrorism overseas and then cry foul when a popular politician is asssainated by Al-Qaeda and Osama Bin Laden, the very people they have supported. Benazir Bhutto was a feudal leader who stupidly returned to a country which had hanged her father, a country which made her brothers vanish, which had already kicked her out for corruption, she was effectively returning to a military dictatorship and sadly paid the ultimate price.

Limo Driver, I have no idea what faith Keith Vaz is? He is however a British MP. I was saying that why would British people turn towards a foreign politician rather than someone home grown and if Sky or the BBC News teams want to know how Pakastani people feel about the assasination then go to Pakistan rather than Birmingham. It seems to demonstrate rather more than a liking for the old country, which is to be admired, when you still support groups of people who then kill your countrymen and women or murder leaders in your or your parents former homeland.

Humza. I was concerned at the duplicity of a biculturial British Pakastani person, who on the one hand supports bombing and murder of British people in the UK by British people and likewise supports the reign of terror overseas, but can somehow be angered by the muder of a well loved politician by those exact same forces. It is a question of allegience. You either have allegience to Britain or to Pakistan? I understand how someone would have ties to a former homeland, it's not un-common, but you cannot have your cake and eat it. You are either for the forces of evil who wish to rule by terror or you fight for the rights of people like Bhutto's followers. As for the racists slant to your reply and your view on a multicutural Britain, my response is it does not work, there is little if any true intergrattion in the UK, instead we have asian or african enclaves that are for the most part secular. If a dog is born in a stable it doesn't make it a horse. You clearly are not truly British.

Sorry! I can't answer this as I would like to as it would be construed as a raciest remark. Oh well I'll answer any way. It's the same with those from India and Bangladesh. They are British until some thing happens in what they still see as there mother country, then they are Indian, Pakistanis and Bangladeshis. The same happens when England play these countries at cricket.

You become British when you are born here (like myself) or have lived here for many years. The pakistani bit is already in the blood. You can not take one or the other away.
Making them British Pakistani, it is not that hard to understand, but it is ok, everyone understand you are not very intelligent.
You can be both, you don't have to plain and dull. Like i know loads of British Italian's, Jews, irish and Hindu's. It's called Multi-cultural.
People who originate from other countries, are allowed to take an interest in their past home's, and usually because they still have family back there.
If they supported terrorism, why would they cry over a woman that could have been so good for the WORLD.
She was more than likely assasinated by Mussharaf and Bush, obviously you do not have the ability to research the truth before posting racist question's and stirring racial hatred.
Beazir Bhutto was a woman with immense courage and 'stupidly' returned to her country to try to help them. It is called not being selfish. Obviously you are too wrapped up in yourself to know what that's all about, as you can't even learn without feeling what the papers tell you to feel.
The corruption was never proven, but the fact people would do ANYTHING to get her out, has been.

You are so ignorant and lack intelligence, or you would have known yesterday was a sad day for the world, and bush and Mussharaf have opened the doors to terrorism further.
It makes me wonder with people as stupid as you, who are the real terrorist supporters.
My finger is pointing at you!

There is no such thing as British Pakistani, they are Pakistan's who because of ridiculous immigration laws are entitled to a British passport. "If I was born in a barn does that make me a horse". In the most part they tolerate British society when it suits their interests ie making money, but when British and Pakistani culture or politics collide be in no doubt which side they pick this is the one reason multiculturalism doesn't work. Keith Vaz is a Hindu politician who represents Liecters Indian communities. He is a publicity hungry criminal ( google cash for passports scandal) and uses every opportunity to get his smug face on tv.

Just because they live in the UK doesn't mean they can't have strong ties or emotive feelings relating to their country of origin. We're living in an era of globalisation now.

Edit - Its OK I'm the Limo Driver. Keith Vaz is actually a Catholic.
