Yup, and there's nothing wrong with that.
I hate sci-fi but I love other nerdy things...comics, mostly.
If you are an addict of everything you are a "geek" of that...for example, music geek, art geek, etc. I mean usually if you're into sports or something you aren't considered a "sports geek" but it's basically the same thing.

yes - if you're obsesd and really live like you're in a sci-fi life.
no - if you just like it casually and enjoy it.

btw, i'm more geek less nerd and not a dork.
