Most people when they get to the age of 40 suddenly 'See the light'. They feel their own mortality and realise time is passing by at an alarming rate.

Women either slip into depression, want more kids, or 'dress to kill' and then go out looking for toy-boys to satisfy their fantasies before it's too late.

Blokes start buying motor bikes, jet-skis or sports cars. Some build a shed and spend time 'building' all manner of strange things, or writing their life story. Others hark back to happier times and see the 'real stories' that are told in his childhood films that he now 'understands', so he wants to go back and check out all those hidden messages that were meant to change our world for the better, but failed miserably.

So don't beat any chap up over the fact that he wants to watch childish or childrens films. You really WOULD be surprised at the serendipity woven into each script.

As for sharing with other children. He will undoubtedly feel that he is giving them one of the greatest 'gifts' a person can give a child. 'Truth'.

It wouldn't do any harm for the rest of society to be woken up to 'The Truth'.

Peace,

Pete.

I'm 30, and I prefer kids' movies to most of the more adult ones. The president of the college where I go to school loves watching Looney Tunes and Popeye. And he's somewhere over 40. I don't think it's strange at all. Everyone is different. My husband is 48 and loves to watch cartoons with the kids; he just isn't interested in watching the same movies over and over again. It's okay. It probably just means that he likes being a little goofey, and he likes to laugh. They're not really bad qualities. Sometimes it's a good thing. :-)

Yes. I'm in my 40s and I sometimes get a kick watching all the old Bugs Bunny shows...as an adult you get the humor more than when you were a kid. I guess it brings back some memories of a less complex time but I just like to laugh. So much on the tube today is all blood & gore, or sex themed, and it is nice to just enjoy a good humorous cartoon or "pixar" type show. If you notice, they keep bringing back old ones all the time - "Underdog" - "Alvin & the Chipmunks" to name a couple. Let him enjoy.

To the dumb-butts that wanted to tie pedophilia to it...go to hell, you ignorant bastards! If you're lucky, you might grow up someday.

What is wrong with you people, its just his way of keeping the child inside him alive, that happens to be very important !

My sister laughed at me because I was watching Tom and Jerry
and said I was too old for it. Now, I'm only 18 and I know I will enjoy some cartoons even when I'm 50.

Check yourself!

Ya, I guess these are fine.

Aladdin
Monsters Inc
Lion King
Tom & Jerry Cartoons
Pokemon

Some of these simply put you back in the day, simple fun times, if he watches it infront of a friend or neighbor then damn! But yeah, I am sure he still likes new movies.
Rent him:
The Godfather
Heat
Goodfellas

He will look manly?

He's buying them for himself to watch, what's the harm, it shows he has a sense of humour, I sat and watched Finding Nemo at Christmas time, it was so funny (I'm 31)

Maybe he's just childish at heart. It reminds him of the old days when life was so much easier. I don't know. As long as he is good to you and does whatever you exspect of him, how could it hurt? This is your call though.

I don't know if it's normal but there's nothing wrong with it. I'm in my 20s and I absolutely love Power Rangers.
