I just want to point out, that do I agree it is entirely the rapist responsibility. If you go around nearly naked, you really shouldn't be surprised if some sick pervert decides to make you his next victim, especially in this screwed up day and age.

The people that commit rape are mentally unstable and very ill. They do it out of hate of women, they do it to make them selves feel like they are better than the woman they are raping. Its more of a way to exert control over someone rather than for sexual pleasure. Its the control that gets them off. There are other reasons but the main ones are those.

I think rape takes place when one person either has a problem controlling their urges or more likely as a power trip.

It has been shown that some men who were raped were molested by a female family member or were extremely dominated by their mothers. But I think those cases were rare.

The rapist, male or female. I can't see how the "beauty or attraction of WOMEN influence in rape altogether.

The person who commits the act is responsible and it isn't always committed against a young attractive woman who is provocatively dressed. Elderly people, children, and men can also be raped.

Lust or revenge or jealousy, I guess.

This is a sin and the sinner is responsible for it.

It is a woman's right to dress sexily and beautifully, and no way being born beautiful is wrong. They dress to please and attract attention of others, but NOT raping!

The lustful/vengeful/jealous sinner meets beautifully-dressed pretty woman = Bad coincidence.

And for the question of why...I think you answered your own question. You are intelligent to think up of those reasons AND that question.

Conclusion: The rapist is responsible. They are the sinners/wrong-doers, being a beautifully dressed, pretty lady meeting up with such a guy is purely coincidence, a BAD one.

Makes sense? ^^

u shud ask rapists why they rape who they rape but all rapists and only the rapists are responsible for the rapes that they commit. Every criminal whether male or female deserves equal punishment for equal crimes. Girls and women can get away with murder and rape but boys and men serve hard time for petty crimes in which no one is even hurt or injured.
