Ingesting ethylene glycol by any means will induce a long-lasting drunkenness, which will end in kidney failure, as some of the glycol will be metabolized to oxalic acid, which will form crystals in the kidneys.

Interestingly, this is one of the only medically recommended uses for drunkenness on ethanol. An excess of alcohol ties up the dehydrogenses and result in less oxalic acid being formed.

It's even worse than doober suggests. The oxalic acid attaches itself to Ca2+ in the bloodstream, and Ca2+ plays a vital role in cell signalling, not just in making healthy bones.

Did you mean ingesting? Injecting would probably lead to rapid painful death through many different mechanisms.
