They always say to check 1 box, but I always check Caucasian and Asian. I was told to mark whatever they look "most like". I find this very offensive, we take pride in both of our races. Any advice?

Mark both of their races or other. I am biracial and I refuse to mark just one of my races. I tell them that when they have my race on their papers then I will mark it. Until then, I will choose both or other.

No offense at all to you, but white people only consider 100% looking white people to be WHITE.

other groups are more flexable when it comes to including others in their groups.

just look at black people. any mixed kid is called black, no matter how light their skin is.

so just go with asian box, or the obvious MIX box,and you wont run into any problems i guarantee you.

and FYI, every human is part of the SAME RACE, we just have diferent Ethnicities.

dogs and cats, = different race

asian and white = different ethnicitiy

Hi, I always just say I'm Asian, eventhough my dad is as white as snow. My brothers are the same way. I can't mark white because that's not true so i never do, people think I'm usually like Mexican or Hawaiian though.

My daughter is 4. "Race" isn't in her international yet. She hasn't cited the very undeniable fact that a number of her kinfolk are black on an identical time as others are latino. i'll coach her to love the two aspects and do my acceptable to coach her the history of the two. coaching myself alongside the way too. it fairly is rather how i chanced in this area (stupid of me, precise?). i grow to be attracted to this comparable question.
