i am having 2-hdd 80gb each.can connect only 2 components via ata

having 3 connectors.one for the 80gb hdd and another for cd/dvdrom.so

the other 80gb hdd is kept idel.how can i connect all three in my

pc.with out open the cabinet each time i want to acess the 80gb hdd.or

is it a option to put ide-usb casing.thks

If you only have 1 ATA socket on the motherboard then install 1HDD on that (drive on END of cable set to MASTER) and the DVD on middle connector set to slave
Purchase a USB 3.5" HDD caddy to connect via USB

IF the mobo had 2 ATA sockets it can handle 4 devices, so install the 2 HDDs as master and slave on 1 cable
and teh DVD on the 2nd cable as Master
(Master should ALWAYS be on the connector at END of cable)

Your can either go for a SCSI interface or better yet put the spare HDD in an external casing and connect using USB.From the Intel site I saw that your Mobo has only 1 IDE slot
