i was looking stuff up about maybe having another remake to halloween, you know halloween 2. well i saw that some websites are saying there will be another halloween part 2 remake coming out in august of 2009, is this true?? because those are def my favorite movies ever! :]

...the folks over at the Weinstein production camp definitely want to continue the series, from the point where director Rob Zombie's remake of the film, ended; however, do not expect any semblance of participation by Zombie, as he has been often quoted as saying that his 'reimagining' (...or 'rebooting', or whatever word that they're using these days, to avoid embracing the word, 'remake') was a 'one-shot deal', and he would not be doing a sequel...
...that's not to say that his relationship with the Weinsteins is over; he had already signed on to have his long-awaited project, "El Superbeasto", released through them, and he has hinted at an unknown, as yet untitled project, which he wants to takle next. If the latest word over at www.shocktillyoudrop.com is any indication, his next project might actually be a feature film version of the fake trailer he put together, for this past year's presentation of "Grindhouse", namely "Werewolf Women of the SS"...

because none of those movies or sequels are based easily, the screenwriter will arise with some goofy rationalization. How do you think of they made all those sequels to the unique "Halloween" and "Friday the thirteenth"?
