I know what you mean. These are the people who need reassurance from other people. These people are insecure about themselves and need other people to tell them that they look good, even though they're not. Usually the people who reply to this kind of thread will oblige to that fact. Also, the people who reply to it are normally people who think that "everyone is beautiful on the inside" or that "you should embrace yourself because it doesn't matter how you look". The people who would tell the truth probably wouldn't post for fear of being seen as mean and rude.

Most of the time they are cute, at least the ones I have seen. What gets me is that you know that they know it, they just want to boost their ego and self esteem.
I have seen some bad ones though!! I try not to answer them!!

Eh, it depends on how they put it. If they're really nice and shy, then I'll probably tell them they look good regardless if they are or not. But if they're pompous jerks about it, then I tell it to them how it is :P

lots of people ask if they're pretty or attractive and someppl are pretty and you can agree and tell them they're pretty but if they're not rele attractive its hard to be honest. but being honest is the best thing.

Yeah,I noticed that.many people posted their ugly pictures and ask us to comment.It would be pity to tell them they're ugly,but I only tell them the truth.

if they are pretty i will say they are pretty .. but if they are not attractive i will not answer it .

it is rude to tell people that they are unattractive.
It is none of your business.
And their appearence will have nothing to do with what their questions or answers.
