every one needs a break some time even if it is only for a good soak in the tub.
are you asking what is wrong with you because you would rather be somewhere else than with your kids?
or are you asking why other people think you want a break?

Sometimes I feel that way, too. It's usually when I'm overtired, exhausted, or just need a break or change of routine. I've always been one to love excitement and exploring and adventure...but now that I'm married with kids, I have to live with stability and routines. It's not bad, just that part of me won't die, so sometimes I need to go blow off some steam and have some adult fun. It makes me a better mom, more patient and better at home. Maybe you need a break or some excitement??

Because you don't have any "you time". Any parent knows that children consume their lives. You constantly worrying about them, doing this and that, putting up with the crying, fighting, tempers, changing diapers, etc, etc. You have to set time aside for yourself. Find a baby sitter and go to a friends house or go get coffee or go out for a meal with a family member, friend or co-worker. To keep your sanity you must set time aside. I know what your feeling. I have kids and I love them with all my heart and soul but after a while it gets to me and I have to get away for a little. You'd be surprised what 1or 2 hours will do for you. You feel like you have no one to talk to yet your kids are there. Your craving adult conversation and interaction.

Yeah, I agree with 'Traci'...you just need some YOU time, go for a short walk, take a 10 minute nap, or get a sitter for the day and pamper yourself a little..... that might do it. Ask that God give you strength and patience... that ALWAYS works.

Since you name is lovingmum I'm going to take a wild guess and assume you really love your kids. Everyone needs alone time to do what they want and recharge their emotional batteries. Maybe that's what you need right now.

As above posts, YOU time is essential. get in a sitter, get the husband to take care of them for a bit. Get out with the girls, hit the salons.... NOT all the time, just enough to make you feel human again.
