I am clueless when it comes to politics. Specifically politics pertaining to country or governmental issues.

Is there any site (free) where I can learn the basics of politics? And by "basics" I mean learning political and economical terms.

I've been interested in learning about this subject for quite some time now, and I personally feel that I should have my own point of views or understand about world issues and better understand the politics of the country that I live in. But I can't due to the fact that I do not fully understand how politics work.

So if anyone knows of any sites that teaches this, that would be really helpful. Thank you

You can study for BA(Politics) or MA(Politics) offered by many universities. But if you want to be a real politcian, you require no qualification. You must know what is happening in and around you .You must be able give an explanation for any thing. If it does not come true ,you must be able to explain why it was so.You must learn the art of public speaking and good written and oral communication skills. You must be able to make a hill out of a mole, when it is suitable to you and do the reverse when you do not like it.All success ful politicians were good orators.Read biography of good polticians.
To start with identify local problems affecting public in your area and start campaigns for solving them.Good luck.

That's slightly difficult. I agree with the previous message, and I also would point out that the first year amongst a university is a perfect point to begin with.

Don't learn from someone else, formulate your own opinions.

Best teacher is history, this is according to Winston Churchill.
Those who don't learn from history are destined to repeat it.

And so it goes.
