All truely magical things are created with a 'flaw' on purpose. This could be seen as a trap door. most things called magic now, have the same flaw...which 'leads' people to believe magic isnt real.

No fear of squeezing through tight trap doors in my magic...
My magic is all smoke and mirrors... and you'll be led to a hospital ward if you're asthmatic (smoke not good for ya, then) or if you have well-functioning lungs then my assistants will lead you to a small warehouse just a block from the theatre, where you get to toil away in magic 8-ball factory...
Unless, of course, you know the magic word.
