Its a 5 gallon marine land tank with a Biowheel.

I have a freshwater master test kit.....
A thermometer
A Fish net
And a heater....

And its all planted, and I'm waiting for it to cycle (doing the fishless thing)

What else would you suggest I get?
I'm placing an order right now for another (better) heater and just trying to think if I need anything else, so I can save on shipping.

Any suggestions? Stuff that might come in handy?

If you don't already have a hose for siphoning, you will definitely need it, as well as a bucket for the siphon to drain into (unless you buy an electric "gravel vacuum" that drains right into your sink, which is, in my opinion, a huge waste of money, especially for small tanks). You're gonna need a filter, fish (duh) proper lighting for your plants (compact fluorescent screw in bulbs, preferably "daylight") and, depending on your fish stocking, fertilizers for the plants (the bigger the container of fertilizer you buy, the less it will cost in the long run). A nutrient enriched substrate is nice, but for such a small tank, is probably unnecessary. You'll want something to remove algae with (a simple floss sponge pad works great or even a credit card!). Feel free to email me if you have any questions.

Sounds nice -- all except for the size. A five gallon is extremely hard to care for, since you cant even really syphon the gravel, making cycling really impossible. If you really are serious, get at least a 10 gallon. The only thing, by the way, you can keep in that tiny tank is one single betta. Good luck!

When I was a kid I had one tank. I think it was fifteen gallons. I liked buying all sorts of gadgets. In the end, all I really needed was a heater, filter, and thermometer.

Cycle? What is that? When I was a kid I noticed that if I didn't clean my tank it cleaned itself. Really! Is that what Cycle means? Letting Mother Nature take over and create an environment for your fish?

One thing more you might need. Snails. Snails smaller than a green pea. Their cute to look at and I think they helped Mother Nature.

I would buy some Prime, or another product for de-chlorinating your water forget the prime that is way too concentrated for your aquarium try this http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=3578+3974+4078&pcatid=4078 just search for it on the site you are buying from also http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=3578+3974+4982&pcatid=4982 This is very very good for a freshwater aquarium its FW aquarium salt it helps prevent disease and just very good for the aquarium! Also the bucket is a very good idea! Good Luck!
Also if you want you can get a magnafloat to clean your aquarium but with a tank that small I'm not sure if you want one but here is a link http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/pet_supplies.cfm?c=3578+3728 you need to know if you have a glass or acrylic aquarium!
