I agree with you... it's tornadoes for me too. A couple summers ago, my wife and I drove directly through one while driving back to Chicago from Carbondale, IL. We were scared to death and wanted to get off the highway because we heard on the radio that tornadoes were popping out of the sky like popcorn, plus we were driving in a waterfall. Well, just as we passed a sign that said "Dix Exit 1 Mile," the guy on the radio said a tornado had just touched down in Dix, IL. I tried to drive as fast as I could, but couldn't see a thing, except very briefly between wipes of the windshield wipers I saw a bubbling green sky and a funnel cloud. As I trudged toward the exit, there was a few seconds where the car began to shake violently, and I lost traction. Then the rain pretty much stopped, but the wind was still very strong. I got off the highway and to the nearest gas station, but I couldn't get out of my car and was also afraid to. The wind created a vacuum, and I knew there was a tornado near by. My wife didn't hesitate; she ran inside, so I followed. Shortly afterward, several other drivers came in and we all huddled near the bathroom until we got an "all clear". The rest of the trip home was surreal, with a weird glow in the sky and the smell of dirt -- branches here and there. Good times... good times.

Tornadoes.

Severe windy conditions that can touch down one, or some windy storms that do just as much damage.

Highly prevalent in these times, probably due to changing earth weather patterns.
