You probably don't pay attention to the little cues and directions of life. For example, did you realize this was the movie category? This question might get more meaningful answers if it were in the "psychology" or "mental health" department.
But don't let other people's opinions get you down! If you think you are smart, you'll do fine. If you think you've done something stupid, then do your best to fix it.

just be like, i am not stupid, if i was, i would be failing at school or doing drugs, or drinking alcholhol, or doing other stupid stuff, but i dont do i? NO!!! so how am i stupid? and then shout at them wioth a really mean voice! lol! but yeah ur not stupid, if u were u would make stupid choices like the ones i named above, so ur not stupid, and ppl may just be sayin that because they know that it bothers u! dont let it get to you! stick to ur grounds! and dont let them get the best of you!
