Turkey is the hardest bird to cook well-everyone gets it wrong. It is far too big to be cooked evenly. So when you are chewing the dry bird on the 25th thinking "Are you sure you took the feathers off?", then everything is going downhill from there.
8pm-"Anyone want a turkey sandwich?"
Boxing day-"Anyone want some soup?"
27th-"Here you go dogs"....(No thanks-Winalot will be fine.)

Unless you mean the country-never been!

Naw, was all gone by last night! We only have a crown these days because I can't stand the sight of the thing hanging around!!

Not me. I didn't eat Turkey at Xmas, instead I purchased, cooked and ate Duck. With a Port and Cherry Sauce - it was delicious!!!!
