hi guys..got serius assignment to finish off.. and i really dono how to start..may i know where to get simple designs and instructions???

Take the serious assignment seriously and do some research. You have a maximum of about a kilowatt per square meter of incident solar energy to work with. With photovoltaics now achieving about 15% efficiency, you have at best 150 watts/m^2 to work with in full overhead sunlight. But if you're not in a rush, a boat can be extremely efficient when operated well below hull speed. Do some calculations. You may find that a houseboat on a catamaran hull with a photovoltaic roof could be practical.
