The effect on the election will be minimal unless some one shoots them self in the foot. As far as the nukes issue we are watching them like hawks. I am sure that any movement of them would be reported at the higher levels of our government. Worst case is a terror group get a hold of them. If Bush is still in office there will be one warning issued and then we would nuke the storage location. Other wise it depends most likely Delta or OSS(CIA) would regain the nukes and transport them to Australia, China or Russia for disassemble.
