Balloons are just another form of litter. There is some evidence that they may be particularly harmful to some marine animals.

Yes it is. The skies are the autobahn of birds. When we release them, we risk the chance of getting some birds hurt. Furthermore, balloons have to come down sometime. They may end up dropping into a river, stream etc and hurt wildlife which lives there.

Those balloons have to come down some where and some time. It is the same as littering to me.

yep -it's littering and balloons aren't made to decompose. toss out orange rind instead.

No because they are too high. Unless a plane comes by and pops them, they keep floating up until they are in orbit around us.
