The discrepancy is due to the glass thickness. 36 " x 12" x 18" *of space* would hold 33.7 U.S gallons (less imperial gallons) but the inside volume of a glass tank with those outside measurements ( taking into account a glass thickness of 1/2 inch) would actually hold about 30 U.S gallons.
Since you asked for litres that would be about 110 litres.

This link has an easy calculator for basic tank volume.

One cubic foot of aquarium space holds 7.5 gallons. If you're tank is 3 feet by 1 foot by 1.5 feet, it is 4.5 cubic feet, which equals 33.75 gallons.

EDIT: rstymtlhd, one cubic foot equals 7.5 gallons. A tank 30 inches by 12 inches by 18 inches is 4.5 cubic feet. This is 33.75 gallons. Obviously, manufacturers round the numbers up or down . I'm sorry you didn't stay in school and learn math. Please think before you criticize other people's correct answers.

Its a 30 gallon tank .a 20 gallon is 30L x 12 w x 12 h unless its a show tank then its 24 x 12 x 20 you have a 30 gallon long tank. And i dont know where mad snake guy got his figures from but have you ever seen a 33.75 gallon tank? NO, they dont make weird sizes like that.
