Both are feelings with great emotion and passion and intensity.
Love of all kinds cause feeling of joy, happiness and fills you a great sense of oneness. You are smiling, happy and open to the beauty around you.
Hate is the direct opposite.
Mostly we dislike people or items etc with a great intensity and there we are closed over and not feeling at all joyful about anything.
Hate is a much stronger word.
I think it is mainly used to describe the feelings and emotions that we have regarding a person's action or deeds or behaviour.
I can love someone, yet despise or hate the things they do - it doesn't stop me from loving them.
You can also hate or dislike a person intensely, yet feel love for them because of something they do.
I think it is just a case of realising hate and love are the two sides of the same coin - both equally dynamic and passionate.

Hatred is love turned inside out. Hatred is born out of pain. If someone has hurt you, you hate them.
Love is the strongest emotion. It also makes us the most vulnerable. When you love someone and they betray you, that can turn into hate.
They are opposite sides of the same coin. Both very powerful emotions elicited when someone has made an impact on you (positively or negatively).
Indifference is when you feel nothing, complete apathy and someone elicits no response whatsoever, they don't matter.
I always said the opposite of love wasn't hate but indifference because it is the lack of feeling. There is no love there at all. With hatred, there may have been love at some point. Someone has to matter to you to have the power to hurt you and incite your wrath...
The thing about hatred though is that it destroys the hater. Anger eats away at you. It is not a healthy way to live. It took me a while to learn this! I used to hold grudges against those that hurt me. Now I see that it is better to let go & make peace...

A person puts a deep amount of emotion into hatred as well as love. I prefer love as it puts such fragrant thoughts within one's mind and demeanor. Hatred drains and destroys the one feeling it as well as the one to whom it is directed. Love remains the WINNER in my life.

To me?
Love makes me stronger, happier, and healthier. It is a positive force that makes me see people and the world for the amazing miracle that it is.
I avoid hatred because it weakens and tires me. It drains my energy and brings no benefit whatsoever.

one is negative and positive , the other is also negative and positive, because one can love what is bad or show love in a bad prospective, and one can love what is good and show love in a good prospective. as for hate, one can hate what is bad or show hatred upon it.that the positive. the other side is one can love hate and use it upon us, that the negative side

If i can hate, it must be worth my energy.
Love is something that requires no energy, just need to be open to it.
