An outlet for my sarcasm...
I am an insanely happy wife, a kennel worker who is elbows deep in it everyday, and I am here because no one else will listen.

If I understand your question correctly, perhaps you're implying that YA users are missing something in real life.
Which is very true, but this applies to every human walking the earth.
Users of YA are here for multiple reasons, not necessarily shared by others. Personally, I ask and answer questions to share my extensive knowledge and to gain further insights into my own psyche.

In one sense I experienced that there are hardly anything worth learning. Most of the questions sound worthless to me specially those asked by teenagers about sex /boy friends. Teenagers' world seems very narrow revolving around sex and b/f related questions. They don't show interest in learning for life development. They r enthusiastic about sex and love matters which in fact the nature teaches them itself. So u get me what we r missing in real life.... wasting of valuable time nothing else. Yahoo! answers community should make different section for age group up to 26 yrs and another group above 26 yrs for matured and sensible ppl. I thought at this stage of my life I would be able to contribute some substantial materials to the community out of my experience but disappointed. I hope u and the community members those matter will give importance to my answer to bring some remarkable changes here. I'm always there to contribute if needed. I liked ur question very much and thanks a lot for this.

i was here because i was having some troubles and was a bit confused about a friend of mine being a friend or not and stuff like that, so people did actually help me out alot. then i started answering people's question, and slowly i got addicted (slowly meaning...2 days, and it's been 2 months nwo), but i guess what im missing in real life....i should be working now, but instead im answering random questions and probably fail my year... so i guess this thing is useful if u want some real answers, but when addicted it can be a waste of time

I'm missing so many things. Years ago I would have been in a chatroom. A few years ago in a forum. Last year I might have been on Skype. When I'm not online I'm at work or out in nature somewhere. At least I'm not fkking a hooker while wearing a diaper and snorting coke off of a strippers butt.

I get validation for my ideas, friendship and camaraderie, help for problems, opportunity to help others and a good laugh here and there. I get enough of real life for 8 hrs a night at work.

I'm just here, man. I'm a narcisist and just come here to have some laughs. I've somewhat knowledgable and try to help the people, but it is mostly for entertainment purposes. I'm buzzed.

One sec, I'll post a question asking what we are missing.
I just come here to ask questions that I want to know. I only answer so i'll have plenty of points to post with.
