Having recently been in an emergency room - I would choose option c.
Grap the nurse by his/her lower lip, and tell them to hire another doctor if necessary, but I will be seen NOW!

If it was that long a wait I would go back home and then call an ambulance. That will get you in straight away. Although the vet sounds interesting. I had to wait 5 hours then another 2 for the procedure to be done when my daughter broke her arm when she was 3. That was bad and the poor bugger passed out from pain. I hope never to go through that again.

the vet! because if i'm in an emergency, it's probably urgent, and it's not like the vet is going to put you to sleep or anything; vets take basic med courses.
and i could always see the doctor afterwards. =]
interesting question, by the way.

Seeing as I'm a duck, I think I'll be okay with the vet.
