I noticed the problem when my car was blowing cold air when I had the heat on... When I tried to fill it back up with anitfreeze I could hear it hitting the ground. The antifreeze in leaking behind the tire on the passenger side. Could it be the water pump or as simple as a hose?

Check the hoses, they do wear out. could a leaking/broken temp control valve, there usually in line with the heater core lines. I've seen heater control valves made of plastic : ( , plastics become brittle over time and break.

It's probably a hose but the cold air with the heater on...have you checked the heat sensor unit?? Is the radiator leaking?

One of the heater hoses has either ruptured or has come off, thats my best guess based on the location of the leak. If it turns out to be that its an easy fix.
