Mariano Rivera is the most definite answer/player.
I wouldn't doubt that Derek Jeter would make it.
If A-Rod stays for his whole contract and keeps playing like this, I'm sure he'll make it.
Jorge Posada has been a leader of the team for quite a while... he's a big name player. But for some reason, I'm still not 'bought' that he'd have his jersey retired.
I dont think anyone else will. Obviously, you never know how the future turns out, so maybe Chien Ming Wang or Philip Hughes can become hall-of-famers wayyy into the future. But for now, Rivera, Jeter, A-Rod and Posada are the only names that should be mentioned.

The Yankees go so over the top with the retiring the number thing. It wouldn't surprise me if someday they retired Kyle Farnsworth's number because maybe he once got a key out in an April game against Tampa Bay.
That being said, they will Jeter's number and more than likely Posada's. Since it's Jackie Robinson's number Rivera's will automatically be retired once he goes. They might've retired Torre's number, but I could see them being sniveling little petty sots and not doing it.
In all likelihood A-Rod's number will be also be retired someday, especially if he can manage to be on one championship team over the next 10 years.
If Clemens' number is retired by the Yankees it'll be a joke. This has nothing to do with steriods; it has everything to do with the fact he spent 1/5 of his career as a Yankee - and those years were far from his best.

Let me give my thoughts on a few other players.
If it can be proven that Clemens isn't on the juice, then they should retire #22 for him.
Andy Pettitte admitted to using HGH. It is sad that Pettitte isn't likely to have his number #46 retired. Even if it wasn't for the HGH use, Pettitt's ERA is around 3.85, which is pretty high to warrant having your number retired. It is just under 4 runs a start, for his career. However, he has also won 64% of his games during his career, and has contributed in the playoffs. I am a fan of Pettitte, and it is painful to type this, but if it wasn't for his HGH use or the fact that he nearly gave up 4 runs a start, then the Yankees will have an Andy Pettitte day at Yankee Stadium. It sucks that someone like Pettitte who deserves to have his number retired, likely won't happen.
If Alex Rodriguez can keep putting up numbers like this for the next 4 years or if he can break the home run record as a Yankee, then they should retire #13 for A-Rod, however, he will still have to perform in the playoffs to make a better case for it.
If Chein-Ming Wang can keep putting up numbers like he did for the next 5 years, and if he can lower his ERA, then hang up #40 for him. Wang had his #41 retired for the Staten Island Yankees for the record.

Posada, Jeter, Bernie will eventually (speculated that it will be opening day in the new stadium) Rivera, Pettitte are the definates. ARod if he stays with the team and does some postseason damage, Matsui depending on how long he stays with the team, and possibly Clemens for the established players. Cano and Wang are the only young guys whose names can be mentioned at this point, but with all the hype surrounding them Chamberlain and Hughes could end up in logs of Yankee lore as well.

Pettite b/c he admitted hgh use and he says he used it 2 days in his career to me 2 days doesn't make a career go good or bad. If 2 days mattered there wouldnt be 1 good player in the game

#42 Mariano Rivera
#20 Jorge Posada
#24 Robinson Cano, if he continues on his current career pace.
Any others are highly debatable and I include Pettite in that, not because of HGH allegations but because I don't think he's a lock for jersey retirement based on his stats.
