CIRCLE

this is because the co-efficents of X2 and Y2 are the same (1/36) so the elliptical shape has no eccentrcity, hence a circle, one focus at (0,0)

multiply through by 36

you get

x^2 + y^2 =36

a circle at the origin with radius 6

circle!

(which is an ellipse with no eccentricity)

(the two bottom numbers are the same, that is how you know it is a circle. If they were different, then it would be a regular ellipse)
