Both are extremely easy to breed, but Guppies are much easier to house beacause they are smaller. In a 10 gallon tank, Guppies would be immensely better. Livebearers do best when kept with more females than males (at least 1:2), so in a 10 gallon, look at 1 male:3 females. If you don't have room (other, larger tanks) you shouldn't be breeding fish (especially livebearers because they are prolific). If you don't have the necessary room, please reconsider.
Soon Nazi
EDIT: The breeder nets referred to by one user are actually very poor inventions because they cause undue stress on the female during an already-stressful time. It is best to have a tank with a LOT of cover which will allow the fry to hide from the older fish.

Guppy is the least complicated. Will breed in tremendously much any functional water between 17 and 26 levels> Have some rocks and flowers around for the fry to cover in. Use popular fishfood< some flakes each 3 days or as much as fish will consune in ten minutes: not greater. next are mollies and platys. All are stay bearers. Guppies breed as quickly as a month if chuffed. The others much less often. Then there are goldfgish and different carp. those are egg layers and greater than the livebearers yet tremendously annoying. each year or two times each year breeders.

35-45 Gallon tank would be perfect for guppies and + they are easier to breed and also i reccomend getting 6 males and 6 females because that would be perfect for a tank your size. Aloso you need to buy a little housing net house that u put the babies in so they dnot get eaten the ones u put in your fishtank but are enclosed

Guppies. Even though both are fairly easy to breed. I recommend guppies since I am guppies. But other than that... which ever you like is the best one to breed I say.

i suggest guppies just because they're easy to breed and every three weeks you will get fry out of them and the female can go 6 months with the males sperm and keep giving off fry.
