I'm trying to plan a trip to Walt Disney World in February and have discovered that the time I want to go is something called President's Week. The days I'm planning are Thursday Feb 21 to Tuesday Feb 22 (or Wednesday Feb 23), which apparently only covers a few days of President's Week.
Naturally, I have no idea what this is and what this means in terms of people being off work and schools being out. Are schools out during this week, do people get the week off? What's the deal with it?
Last time I went to Disney in February, it was dead (was the weekend and few days after the Superbowl was in Jacksonville), so I'm hoping to get the same light to not-so-heavy crowds.
Any help is appreciated, thanks.

President's Day is a US holiday that falls on the third Monday in February. Many workers, and all federal employees, have the day off. Some schools are off that day only, although most are also off the Friday before to make a 4 day weekend and many in the New York City area are off the entire week of President's Day.

Since the Super Bowl is much earlier in the month, I'm assuming the last time you went was at the beginnng of February. It will be much busier at this time, since any 3 or 4 day weekend tends to be very busy at Disney. Also since Easter is early this year, I'd expect colleges which have both a Spring Break and an Easter Break to begin having Spring Break around that time as well. Unfortunately for you, I believe it will be much busier this time.
