He has no facts, he uses other peoples opinions and shouts them over the guests that are telling him the facts. That is like most right-wing ding bats though.

Right-wing dingbats don't have the loud and obnoxious market cornered. Just look at left-wing dingbats like James Carville or Al Franken or Rosie O'Donnell.

Partisan pundits like Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'Reilly make their money by being sensational and over-the-top. It's annoying, and it's an affront to decent journalism and good human sense, but it plays well to people who like very black-and-white, us-versus-them sensationalism and name-calling.

Some people find comfort in that, inexplicably.

You may not understand that both sides have their overly passionate sides. Thats why you need to watch media, Fox or CNN, with a grain of salt and assume that you aren't getting the whole truth. You need to get the sources from multiple places and make your own decision. But your closing comment might place you in the biased realm that many fall into. Just try to keep an open mind, listen to what they have to say, if you don't agree, then atleast you can't be accused of being closed minded.

Because apparently many people don't feel that he is stupid or ignorant. After all he does have a masters degree and he taught high school for a couple of years. Although he is very opinionated and tends to be arrogant, just because you don't like or agree with his views doesn't make him stupid or ignorant. As we all know he works for the "fair and balanced station" and he is in " the no-spin zone" and you have the option of turning him off.

If you'll look around and open your eyes, you'll suddenly see that we are immersed in media, all of which is designed for stupid and ignorant consumers. The media has been this way for a long time.

How did you miss that? Perhaps you like some of the stupid, ignorant material that's not Bill O'Reilly?

THAT's why He's on TV ! Think about it! WHAT "kind" of people WATCH a lot of TV ? Scientists?- Nooo... College Professors?- Nooo... Inventors or Doctors?- Uh-uh... People who have too much Time on their hands & no Lives to speak of- THOSE are the Ones who worship at the Altar of O'Reilly & call Him a "Rightous Dude..." So pray for US, & forgive THEM and Bill, -for they know not what they do... :)

I love Bill O'Reilly, and that's only your opinion. It's the same reason Dr. Phil and Oprah are on. I know a lot of people who can't stand Dr. Phil... and personally I can't stand Oprah. I do like Dr. Phil though
