Anyways, I am 25, she's about 50 something. I had bought my first car in April...a G35 coupe, and I bought a cross to put in my car (she works at People's The Diamond Store). She told me to come by the next day and she'll give me a vail of holy water as well to sprinkle on my car.
In September, a driver did a hit and run. My car was entirely destroyed....I collided with a semi truck. The police can't catch them...though they've tried. My roof was mostly sliced off, the passenger side was crushed, so was the back. Where I was sitting though....I didn't even have a scratch....I just opened my car door and walked out. The police, ambulance all said I should've been decapitated. Only 6 inches of the roof was intact...where I was sitting. I've already thanked her, but maybe I should get a belated Xmas present?
Anyways...I don't even know her name....but I feel I should get her something....but what? What do you suggest?

Call it a "New Year's" gift-because without her intervention, you mayn't have had one. Perhaps a nice scented candle, blessed by a local priest, or a small religious statue or a "guardian angel" pin (available in many card stores). Whatever you get her should have a nice note thanking her for the extra blessing. What a lovely person she must be! Have a safe & happy New Year!

I'm sure that a simple gift would do. But I think it should resemble the cross you put in your car.
Perhaps you should get a small cross necklace sprinkled with hold water? Or a cross with holy water inside... You know what I'm saying?

A dozen roses, delivered with a grateful note of appreciation It would be symbolic and not necessary to repeat every year. Subsequently an annual Christmas Greeting card would be nice.

She will appreciate a geniune thank you and you telling her about the car accident more than any present you could give her. If you really feel you want to give her something, take her out to eat and tell her about it...

Check your local Christian book store for a recommended book of poetry or personal insights - talk to Cust. Svc. there for ideas;
Most women like flowers and will appreciate them;
You could talk to her coworker to see if she collects things - that would say 'Thank You' best of all.

i think a hand written letter is all that is needed, when u get older, u don't care about the cost of things or how fancy things look, what matters most is the fact that u were thought of and appreciated.
I'm glad u r ok.

If you believe the holy water did it and it was all to the old lady then go ahead and get her flowers and tell her you'll do just about anything to pay her back...but yea...this is just from luck

Buy her a dozen roses for saving your life! Either that or just a regular flower bouquet. Good job!
