Now think about this for a second or two. Who would you be loyal to when it came to listing a house? Which of your brokers would get the sale if you sold a house.

The answer is no. I personally would not hire you based on the above scenario, loyalty.

I am sure that there will be those that are smarter than I that will quote you a California Civil Code from the California Department of Real Estate that says something about dual agency.

I hope this has been of some use to you, good luck.

No. A licensed agent can only work under one broker at a time, but a licensed Broker can have their license with as many companies as they want. The broker can be the main broker of the office with agents under them or a broker could be one of many agents at an office. I have been doing loans forever and my license is at a mortgage banking office, but I am the broker at a resale timeshare/vacation ownership company along with having my license with many other agents at another sales office...crazy, ha. The brokers license is easy to get and all you have to do his have more class's, and a masters from College or 2 yrs in the real estate business. I teach classes on how to pass both the sale test and the brokers test.....same questions!

No. An agent must have an employing broker and work for that broker exclusively. An agent can only cooperate with other agents through his or her broker. Every bit of real estate transacting must be through the employing broker.
