Democrats are the party for the rich who want to keep others from becoming rich. Republicans believe in allowing people to earn wealth, regardless of current class status.

Elites believe in keeping the number of wealthy down. They do not want others to make it and get laws passed to make it harder and harder to create wealth.

40% of a million dollars leaves one with $600K to spend. 40% of $100K leaves one with $60K to spend. The problem with Democrats is that they consider anyone who is successful to be rich and lump people making $100,000 in with the Bill Gates and Warren Buffet crowd. Obama keeps talking about people making $75K as being wealthy. Since he feels that way, reduce all Congressional salaries to $75K and let them see how far that gets an individual living in the DC Metro area.

They are the party of parasites and losers. Pay for my health care so I can get a big screen TV and then default on the payments.
